The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen(CUHKSZ) is the second campus of CUHK as its extension in mainland China, 30 kilometers north of the main campus of CUHK in Sha Tin. The new campus was established on 11th October 2014 and approved by the Ministry of education in China (MoE) on 16th April 2014. At the end of August 2014, the first batch of students enrolled in the new campus.
